Quality Assurance & Safety

Sutton Coating Services Incorporated’s plant facility management and personnel are skilled and experienced in surface preparation and coating techniques. Quality assurance procedures are supervised on-site by both plant supervisors and management.
Coating inspection reports are available on request for monitored conditions during surface preparation and coating application. These reports track timed readings of surface patterns, painting procedures, humidity, temperature, dew point, film thickness, and any other requested data.
Nationally approved engineering standards are used, assuring compliance to specifications requested by customers. Some traditionally used standards include specifications from the National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE), Steel Structures Painting Council (SSPC), federal and military standards, and Army Corps of Engineers standards.
